Studio events are great for anyone who wants to be creative. Class is taught by a certified artist that will demonstrate the tools and equipment, then you can let your imagination shine. Workshops are kept to small groups for personal attention from the instructor.

The best place for beginners to start with relief printmaking. Participants will be introduced to the tools and techniques to create carved block prints. Learn about the various types of carving tools as well as the different surfaces that can be used for carving. Participants will carve linoleum, apply ink, and create multiple prints using their carved lino-block.

Distinguished by its use by iconic artist Andy Warhol, screen-printing has become a crowd favorite for making prints. An ideal course for beginners to learn the basic techniques necessary for understanding the silk-screening process and using the tools. Students will learn how to create single color design and print directly onto quality paper. Students will leave the class with multiple prints of their own design on paper.

Drawing Basics, is an introduction to the tools and techniques for drawing. Students are also taught about form, composition, convey emotion and basics of perspective. Continue to come for each month for new projects in order to develop proficiency with various drawing techniques. This is a 2 hour workshop. Supplies approx. $12
Beginning Painting skills are built upon the basics of watercolor. Students will learn approaches to color mixing, value scales, and various techniques for applying paint. We will work with limited color palettes and extended color palettes. Geared for anyone who wants to begin or expand their understanding of painting. Basic drawing skills needed.

An introduction to collage with paint and embellishments. This workshop we will collage the papers with paint, we then add details and embellishments. Some drying time is needed in between steps. This workshop is for anyone interested in creating a unique one-of-a-kind artwork.

Make your own repurposed book perfect for journaling and sketching! Students learn the skills used to decorate book covers, the spine, tearing and folding pages, techniques using cuts and glue. Students will also explore various methods of enhancing the book with decorative stitches and pockets. Decorative paper will be provided for the covers, but feel free to bring your own papers, fabric, or wallpaper if you wish. Supplies approx. $20.
