Mindful Drawing: Discovering Nature One Line at a Time

In this calming workshop, you'll carefully observe and sketch natural objects such as leaves, flowers, feathers, shells, seed pods, or pinecones while practicing mindful observation. Rather than worrying about creating a perfect drawing, you'll focus on seeing shapes, textures, patterns, and light in a whole new way.
This relaxing experience helps improve drawing skills while encouraging mindfulness, patience, and creative confidence.
Exploring Colored Pencil Drawing

Colored pencils are one of the most versatile art materials, capable of creating vibrant color, realistic textures, and beautiful depth.
In this workshop, you'll learn the essential techniques that bring colored pencil drawings to life. Through simple exercises you'll discover how layering colors, blending, and thoughtful shading can transform a flat drawing into a dimensional piece of artwork.
You'll be surprised how many colors exist within a single object.
Big creativity can happen in a very small space. Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are miniature works of art, making them fun, approachable, and perfect for experimenting with watercolor, colored pencils, and ink pens, you'll create a collection of six tiny artworks inspired by seasonal memories, flower gardens, vacations, or favorite seasonal moments.
These miniature masterpieces can be traded, collected, framed, used in journals, or given as thoughtful handmade gift books.
